Privacy note for the Atlas beta

This download site uses no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts, no cookies, no third-party fonts and no third-party hosts. Your browser requests the pages and files you open from this server. Server access logs: to be confirmed (what is kept, and for how long).
Your data and the installer
- The Atlas installer does not read, copy, migrate or delete your browser profile data.
- Uninstalling Atlas removes the program files but does not automatically delete your browser profile data.
- Atlas keeps its working files, including its update records, in your own Windows user folder (under
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Atlas), not in a shared location.
Exactly which information Atlas stores about you (for example your CV, profile, saved answers and job history), and where each item is stored: to be confirmed.
AI providers
Atlas's agent uses an AI model service. You choose and configure the provider Atlas uses. Text that Atlas needs to work on, such as parts of a job posting or your CV, is expected to be sent to the provider you configure. The exact content sent, and the provider's own handling of it, is governed by that provider's terms: to be confirmed for each supported provider.
Job sites
When Atlas browses job boards or employer sites for you, those sites see the visit as they would from any browser you use. What you have signed in to on those sites is between you and them.
Updates
To check for updates, Atlas contacts an update server. What information that request includes (beyond what any web request reveals, such as your network address): to be confirmed.
Crash reports and usage analytics
Whether the beta build sends crash reports or usage analytics, and to whom: to be confirmed.
